The Senior Consultant is a senior consulting leader who is responsible for managing and guiding the team during client projects. The consultant is responsible for the analysis, design, scheduling, construction and delivery of solutions to meet client expectations. The Senior Consultant maintains the relationship between the client and MSG and oversees the day-to-day operations of the project until completion. In some cases, the Senior Consultant leads several client projects and/or part of the presales effort with potential clients. Duties are usually performed at a customer site. This person works both independently as an individual contributor on mid-to-large-sized tasks/projects and as a mentor providing guidance to less senior consultants on projects and tasks of all sizes and complexities.

Specific Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide SAP Finance and Costing expertise for SAP components in the areas of: FI/CO, COPA, CO Sub modules
  • Act as the subject matter expert for the SAP Dairy Management practice in North America
  • Provide guidance and recommendation to the clients
  • Provide oversight and manage SAP Dairy Management projects
  • Support SAP Dairy Management presales effort 
  • Participate in training/mentoring customers and internal consultants
  • Contribute to and participate in the msg Global Knowledge Communities


Minimum Job Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
  • A minimum of 7 years of progressive, relevant consulting, implementation experience with SAP in the Dairy, Food, Beverage, Agriculture, consumer food products, industrial food products, healthcare, manufacturing
  • Healthcare, pharmaceutical manufacturing experience will be considered


  • Demonstrated expertise of SAP FI/CO, COPA, CO sub modules and SAP project methodologies
  • Strong background in SAP Costing module preferred
  • Strong knowledge and background of process industry like chemical, pharmaceutical or food like beverage or meat
  • Professional consulting skills with ability to create solutions that take into account business objectives and requirements
  • Entrepreneurial self-starter able to work in a multi-faceted and fast-paced environment with critical deadlines
  • Professional presentation skills with excellent written and verbal communications skills and an emphasis on tact and diplomacy
  • Business and financial acumen
  • Capability to work well under pressure, in particular under tight cost and time constraints
  • Strong project management skills; Proven ability to manage multiple assignments, adjust direction and priorities within fast paced and multi-faceted work environment through strong organization, time, detail and process management orientation
  • Exceptional problem solver, with proven ability to utilize past experiences to effectively resolve issues
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team environment; proven decision making skills
  • Commitment to exceptional customer service; ethics and integrity in all actions
  • Dedication to exceptional work quality
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)

  • Up to 80% overnight travel may be required.


Working Conditions:

  • Fast paced work environment; flexibility in working schedules may be required due to changing business demands
  • The standard work environment is general office conditions (standing, sitting, walking)
  • Remote work may be possible based on client requirements.
