ITALY - ABAP Analyst Programmer

Location: Milan, Italy
Job Function: ABAP Analyst Programmer

We are currently seeking two ABAP Analyst Programmers with a minimum one year of experience to join our team in Milan, Italy. ABAP Analyst Programmers provide SAP application support to our worldwide development centers and will perform a range of tasks which may include analysis, design, coding and testing, installation, maintenance, support and implementation of information technology solutions. In addition to technical expertise, the ability to excel in a global team environment, effectively communicate and achieve results is critical in this role.

ABAP Analyst Programmer will:

Utilize the SAP software platform for Financial Services
Provide analysis and technical expertise
Program with ABAP (OO) and Java
Analyze requirements and organize in programming sequence
Prepare work flow charts and diagram
Prepare project documents and reports for client and msg senior management
Perform system testing to ensure performance quality and maintenance
Communicate effectively with client and msg senior management
Work effectively with msg staff located worldwide

Position Requirements:

Minimum one year experience
Knowledge of relational databases and SQL
Package MS Office: Word, Excel, Power Point
Languages: Italian (native language) English (fluent)
Interest in IT and innovation
Ability to work well in a team environment
Effective communication skills
Willingness to travel up to 75% to client locations or relocate to project sites abroad
Ability to be creative, flexible, and adaptable in a changing work environment
Strong problem solving skills and attention to details
Passion for excellence

Preferred but not Required:

Experience in the insurance / reinsurance sector
Other languages of interest: French, Spanish, Portuguese, German
Knowledge of Visio and Access
